Originating from the Barisan range in Sumatra, this form from Gunung Belirang produces large pitchers with dark and elaborately flared peristomes. This particular clone was selected from an original 24 clones for characteristics such as vigour, colouration, and in particular for the broad peristome that is most typical of the species.
