These plants were imported in September 2022 from Malesiana Tropicals. Since the import they have grown new leaves in our 65-90 greenhouse.

Malesiana Tropicals Description: An easily grown but still far from common species endemic to Sumatra. Lower pitchers are broad-based in shades of green and red with a candy-striped peristome. Upper pitchers are funnel-form, flushed red and green with a pouting-lipped peristome and lid in glossy crimson and taper into a slender green base. Bronze leaves and pale green and red pitchers with a red-and-white striped peristome. In full sun the leaves become burnished.

*Malesiana Tropicals claim this is a species. (It may turn out to be a hybrid.)

The LAST two photos are provided by Malesiana Tropicals and is for reference only. The plant you receive may or may not have pitchers.

These plants ship bareroot due to their size.

This Malesiana Tropicals plant is classified as a lowlander, this means they do best with 80-90F during the day and do not grow/do well if the temperature falls below 60 at night. They also do best in high humidity in range of 70-100%.
