One (1) Nepenthes ‘Helen’ – selected cultivar: BE-4528 SMALL

Photos are provided by Borneo Exotics and are representative.  Plants may or may not currently have pitchers.

Details from BE:

A superb and very exceptional cultivar named for Dame Helen Mirren at our gold medal winning RHS Chelsea Flower Show in May 2011. It took eleven years to multiply up in our lab and was only released for the first time ever in June 2022! The correct scientific name is Nepenthes spathulata x spectabilis.

First introduced:  June 2022

Origin: The female parent is our finest selected clone of N. spathulata, with wide purple peristome and green pitcher body, sold under BE-3175, and the male parent is the incomparable giant form of N. spectabilis, selected from those sold under BE-3178. This clone was selected from plants out of the same grex as the assorted clones sold under BE-3314, although this particular clone was always separated and not included in BE-3314.

Source: From a single carefully selected clone out of microprop.

Photo notes: Plants shipped are of the same clone as shown in these photos.

Ships bareroot. Roots will be wrapped in sphagnum moss, but you will need to provide your own pot and more potting substrate when the plant arrives. Extra care will be needed as the pre-order plants will need to be acclimated slowly to your conditions. This means low light and high humidity.
This is a Pre-order item, whose details can be read here.
