The Borneo Exotics pre-order sale will officially end on Wednesday, March 4th at 6 PM EST. At that time, all unsold items will be removed from the website and grown out and acclimated here at our nursery to be sold locally — hopefully in time for the May NC Carnivorous & Exotic Plant Symposium. 🦗

Last call: if you’ve been thinking about adding anything to your order, now is the time. If you plan to place a second order, please contact us so we can easily combine shipping for you.🪲

Next weekend we’ll begin the big task of preparing shipping labels (it’s a lot of work!). You’ll start receiving email notifications that your order is “complete” — that simply means your shipping label has been printed (how exciting!). All orders will ship from us to you around March 11.🪳

• Nepenthes sibuyanensis × merrilliana (selected clones) — BE-4026

🌱 Nepenthes ampullaria ‘Lime Twist’ BE-3390 is a classic swamp-dwelling species that, when mature, produces beautiful basal rosettes that form a carpet of pitchers with few leaves. This carefully selected clone features the body coloration of ‘Harlequin’ paired with a striking lime-green peristome that can develop maroon striping in high light. It thrives in warm temperatures, high humidity, and consistently moist, acidic media.

🔥 Nepenthes sibuyanensis × merrilliana BE-4026 is one of the most impressive hybrids ever created. It combines the waxy texture of N. sibuyanensis with the sheer size and power of N. merrilliana, producing enormous deep orange to red pitchers. It’s vigorous, robust, and an easy grower. A clone of this cross even holds a 🏆Guinness World Record🥇 for largest carnivorous plant by volume — and it may not be the limit.

The response to our Borneo Exotics pre-order has been incredible. Orders flying in, messages rolling through, packing lists growing by the minute… it’s the kind of busy that makes you pause and feel deeply grateful. We’re so proud to be able to offer these amazing plants to you and to see them heading to collections all over the country. 🪳

This weekend was a whirlwind between the pre-order launch and our Valentine’s event — and now we’re diving straight into a packed spring show calendar. In the photo, you’ll see just a few of the events we’ll be attending this season. It’s going to be a fun (and full!) few months.🦗
