A little good news. I found a post office that was open and was able to ship 90% of the pre-orders.

Waiting for the water to recede more to check on the parent plants. Grow house and greenhouse still have 3 feet of water. Went down about 10” since last night.

Water has risen by about 12+ inches since yesterday morning on our grow room. Our house and cars are safe. Our neighbors homes and cars are under 4 feet of water now

The house that we live in is dry and safe. No damage. But the greenhouse and pool house (which house all of the plants for the business) are under 2 feet of water at least, and the water is rising. And we watched somebody drive their car into the 3 foot deep flooded road and then get stuck.

Our online store will close down this Sunday temporarily as we prepare the orders. Plants that aren't sold will be grown out at our FL state certified nursery and then sold locally or added back to our online store in a few months.

Please consider adapting these plants. You don't want them to feel abandoned, do you? They will be all by themselves. Their siblings have been adapted. Bring them into their forever home where they can grow and thrive.

Yesterday I potted up several hundred Nepenthes lowii X ventricosa, Bloody Mary, and St. Gaya. Some of them will be available at our fall sales. And maybe we’ll hang onto some to grow out for the spring sales as Nepenthes lowii x ventricosa is an amazingly beautiful and easy hybrid.
