One (1) N. robcantleyi x aristolochioides – assorted clones: BE-4036 SMALL
The female parent is the superb cultivar of Nepenthes robcantleyi, called Nepenthes ‘Queen of Hearts’, which has been exhibited worldwide many times. The male parent is a seed-grown Nepenthes aristolochioides, with our collection ID# 0845.
This is a segregated item and is currently only available on the shop at sizes small or below.
History: First introduced to cultivation through our wholesale auctions in Nov 2020, only four batches were made available, and it was last auctioned in Dec 2020. It was first added to the online shop in Sept 2021.
In general, N. aristolochioides rarely makes a good hybrid parent, and over the years, we have discarded many new creations without introducing them to cultivation. However, this is a good one, as it has exceptionally large pitchers, thanks to our superb cultivar ‘Queen of Hearts’. This is the reverse hybrid of BE-3695.
