One (1) N. rajah x ‘trusmadiensis’: BE-4685 SMALL
This is a huge cross in every imaginable way! Both the male and female parents are well known for their enormous size. They also have highly distinct characteristics, especially in their peristomes. At the time of writing, we haven’t yet grown one to maturity, but we’re getting there! The latest photos and video of the random clone shown here shows the peristome is becoming scalloped in the manner of N. rajah and the pronounced ribs of N. ‘trusmadiensis’ are apparent.
As this is a random selection from a large number of different clones, we can’t guarantee that all individuals will have the same colouration as the example shown here, but it’s a safe bet that none of them will be in any way lacking colour and all will be gorgeous.
History: First introduced in July 2025.
Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics.
Source: A random selection from a large number of different clones.
