Live Sphagnum Moss, Sphagnum spp. – 4-inch by 4-inch section.
I started with a small section and seeded it in a children’s pool. The pool had a small layer of peat and perlite. And now I have it everywhere! It can grow on a tray without soil as well.
Live Sphagnum Moss can be used as a top dressing for many carnivorous plants, used as a potting substrate or chopped up to start seeds.
Have had success growing it 35F to 90F. Keep moist – only using rainwater or distilled water. Do not let it dry out.
Some shade may be needed in extreme hot weather.
