One (1) Nepenthes spathulata x aristolochioides: BE-4077 MEDIUM
While the wonderful characteristic egg-shaped form of N. aristolochioides is fully apparent, the influence of N. spathulata can easily be seen too, particularly in the size that it confers to this cross. Pitchers on mature plants can become impressively large.
Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics. The female parent is N. spathulata, with wide purple peristome and green pitcher body, which was selected from those sold under BE-3175. The male parent is N. aristolochioides, selected for its exceptional vigour from amongst the assorted clones sold under BE-3023.
Source: A random selection from a large number of different clones.
Ships bareroot. You will need to provide your own pot and Potting substrate when the plant arrives. Extra care will be needed as the pre-order plants will need to be acclimated slowly to your conditions. This means low light and high humidity. Check out this video that I helped write for the ICPS on “How to acclimate your carnivorous plants.”
