One (1) N. ampullaria ‘bronze Nabire’ – selected clone: BE-3304 SMALL

BE Description :

This classic swamp-dwelling species is one of the few that will develop basal rosettes when larger, giving the appearance of a carpet of pitchers with few or no leaves. It grows easily in acidic media with high temperatures and humidity.

This form of the species originates from Nabire in Papua, has a red speckled pitcher body with a distinctive bronze tint to the peristome.

History:  First introduced in June 2009.

Origin: Horticultural.

Photo notes: Plants shipped are of the same clone as shown in these photos.

Source: From a single selected clone.

Climate: Lowland

Ships bareroot. You will need to provide your own pot and more potting substrate when the plant arrives. Extra care will be needed as the pre-order plants will need to be acclimated slowly to your conditions. This means low light and high humidity initially. Check out this video that I helped write for the ICPS on “How to acclimate your carnivorous plants.” To see the size and quality of our imports watch this video.
