One (1) N. bicalcarata ‘Sarawak giant’ – selected clone BE-3682 for sale. SMALL
BE Description :
“Discovered by Ch’ien Lee, who described the plants in the parent colony like this: “The giant red N. bicalcarata here are like none I have ever seen. The pitchers are enormous and very round and wide. Also, the color is pure deep purple-red with absolutely no trace of green. The best bical I have seen for sure.”
The photo shown here is of a plant supposedly from the same colony as the this item originates from, but we notice that’s its not the deep purple that Ch’ien Lee described. As yet, we have no knowledge of the actual coloration of mature specimens of this item and would love to hear from anyone who has grown it to maturity.
History: First introduced in April 2016.
Item Name: From a single clone out of microprop selected for its vigor.
Photo notes: A plant in habitat supposedly from the same colony as the this item originates from”
