“This is an exceptionally striking cross and is of a single clone, selected from an original 24 clones many for its uniform plum colouration as well as its exceptional vigour. Being a highland-lowland cross it’s classed as an intermediate grower, which means it will be tolerant of a wide range of temperatures.
History: First introduced in Sept 2016.
Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics. The female parent is a superb dark purple specimen of N. densiflora and the male parent is dark semi-giant form of the Brunei N. rafflesiana known as “clone 99” and formerly sold under BE-3148.
Source: From a single carefully selected clone.
