One (1) N. maxima – ‘Sulawesi wavy-leaf’ – selected clone #1 BE-3907 SMALL

BE Description:

The superbly distinctive extreme wavy-leaf form, selected from the assorted clones formerly sold under BE-3543 as having the deepest red leaf coloration and pitchers with contrasting lime-green peristomes. This is a hugely eye-catching plant and its wonderful wavy red leaves make it superior to nearly every other form of the species.

This item is from the same grex of seed as the other selected clone we sell under BE-3786. The difference is that BE-3786 is clone # 9, selected for its mostly red peristome and heavily red-striped pitchers, whereas this item is clone # 1, selected for its lime-green peristome and lightly red-striped pitchers. The pitcher shape also varies between the two items, with BE-3786 having more elongated pitchers.

Ships bareroot. You will need to provide your own pot and more potting substrate when the plant arrives. Extra care will be needed as the pre-order plants will need to be acclimated slowly to your conditions. This means low light and high humidity. Check out this video that I helped write for the ICPS on “How to acclimate your carnivorous plants.”
