“Affectionately known as “Nepenthes spamata”, this cross has been made several times in our nurseries using two different forms of N. hamata parents and with a lot of variability within each grex of seeds. This item varies from BE-3843 in that the N. hamata parent is the Gng. Lumut form of the species, whereas BE-3843 uses a N. hamata originating from Gng. Tambusisi.
History: First introduced in Sept 2016.
Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics. The female parent is our clone #3 of N. spathulata, with collection ID 0441, selected from amongst those sold under BE-3174. The male parent is clone #1 of our Lumut form of N. hamata, with collection ID 1552, selected from amongst the two clones sold under BE-3380.
