“As detailed below, the male parent is a superb hand-selected seed-grown wavy-leaf form of N. maxima. As both the video and photos here show, many of the clones comprising this item (but not quite all) are exhibiting attractive wavy margins to their leaves.

History: First introduced in May 2021.

Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics. The female parent is a seed-grown plant of the Bario form of N. veitchii with a green pitcher body and gold peristome, bearing our Collection ID# 1104. The male parent is a seed-grown plant of the wavy-leaf form of N. maxima from the same grex of seeds as BE-3907 and BE-3786 and has our Collection ID# 1032.

Climate: Highland”

Ships bareroot. Roots will be wrapped in sphagnum moss, but you will need to provide your own pot and more potting substrate when the plant arrives. Extra care will be needed as the pre-order plants will need to be acclimated slowly to your conditions. This means low light and high humidity. Check out this video that I helped write for the ICPS on “How to acclimate your carnivorous plants.”

Small (S) – Nursery grown plants with a minimum leaf span of 5 cm (2.5″) up to about 9 cm (3.5”).
