One (1) Nepenthes lowii ‘Murud’ BE-4629 SMALL

This is a fabulous species with extremely tough purple/green pitchers, slow growing but highly rewarding, since few other species have such contrasting and unique upper and lower pitchers. Nepenthes lowii rarely develops strong root systems until the plants become quite mature, so for this reason we cannot guarantee that plants we sell will always have well developed root systems but the leaf canopy will be healthy and hard and they will be in active growth.

“For decades we’ve only had a single clone of this species available, which is the form from Gng. Trus Madi, sold under BE-3100. Now for the first time we are able to start to offer assorted cones from a different location: Gng Murud.

Ships bareroot. You will need to provide your own pot and Potting substrate when the plant arrives. Extra care will be needed as the pre-order plants will need to be acclimated slowly to your conditions. This means low light and high humidity. Check out this video that I helped write for the ICPS on “How to acclimate your carnivorous plants.”
