N. sibuyanensis ‘Patch’ – from cuttings: BE-3972 LARGE
Lot# – B8954
Size – Large
Quantity – 1 plant
Climate: Highland
Although we have found the variegation to be ‘stable’ in that in our experience it doesn’t grow out, it is also ‘variable too’. By that we mean that no two plants are the same, so although all genetically from the same stock they do look different from one another. They are propagated from cuttings, all originating with the same mother plant and we find that every time we take a cutting it produces a new plant that varies in some way to all the others we have seen. These plants seem to grow at the usual speed for N. sibuyanensis and the plants on offer are taken from cuttings, and may not currently have pitchers. It may be helpful to induce pitchring by resting the tendrils on a supporting surface or, even better. a bed of moss.
The last time we offered any of these was back in 2023. As it’s produced from cuttings, it’s very rare in cultivation.
Climate: Highland. We grow it between about 26 deg. C (80 deg. F) in the daytime, down to 12 deg. C (54 deg. F) at night, although it will certainly tolerate temperatures well outside this range.
