N. sibuyanensis x (veitchii x lowii) – assorted clones: BE-3986 LARGE
Both parent plants have exceptionally tough waxy pitchers and all clones of this cross are similar in that regard. The colouration varies, with peristomes ranging from striped through to nearly black, as can be seen in some of the photos here.
Some specific clones from this grex have been separated out and are sometimes sold individually under different BE-codes. They are not included in the mixture of clones under this item.
History: First introduced in Oct 2022.
Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics. The female parent is a deep red clone of Nepenthes sibuyanensis (our clone #19), selected from amongst those sold sometimes offered under BE-3164. The male parent is a seed-raised clone of Nepenthes veitchii x lowii, selected from those formerly sold under BE-3210.
